Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a saturable core on which the voltage drop, the increase in heat generation and the lowering and the like of efficiency, when high frequency is applied, can be prevented in an excellent reproducible manner.
CONSTITUTION: The saturable core is the core having the core material and the core shape which satisfy the relation of μrs/Bs4h40×103Aw/1(K≤40×103) when the saturation ratio permeability of core material is set at μrs, the saturation magnetic flux density of the core material is set at Bs[T], the window area against the SL 7 winding in core shape is set at Ax[m2] and average magnetic path length is set at 1[m]. Also, an amorphous magnetic alloy thin strip is used in this saturable core, induction magnetic anisotropy is given in the direction of magnetic path of the amorphous magnetic alloy thin strip, the magnetic path direction is brought into the axis of easy magnetization. A 30% winding is provided on the core, and the magnetic anisotropic energy in the direction of magnetic path, when a current is allowed to flow in the current density of 5A/mm2 is obtained at 100J/m3 or smaller.
