Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust the inclination of a following wheel by directly tilting a wheel shaft.
SOLUTION: A band saw blade is wound on a driving wheel and a following wheel 2, which is borne on the one end side of a wheel shaft 43, and the other end side of the wheel shaft 43 is fluctuatably detachably supported on a movable shaft support body 47. When the shaft support body 47 is moved in the longitudinal direction of the band saw blade, tension acts on the band saw blade to tilt the wheel shaft 43 for causing a center slippage in the following wheel 25. Since a longitudinal part of the wheel shaft 43 is partially detachably supported on the shaft support body, the end part of the wheel shaft 43 becomes fluctuatable, and the inclination of the wheel shaft 43 can be directly adjusted by movedly adjusting the end part of the wheel shaft 43 in the longitudinal direction of the band saw blade, and the inclination of the following wheel 25 can be therefore easily adjusted.
