Abstract:
PURPOSE: To solve such a problem of insufficient saw blade management due to vanishment of a number on the saw blade or missing of a tag on the saw blade regardless of such a conventional process as making numbers directly on the saw blade with a magic pen or attaching a numbered tag on it as a method to manage saw blades at the time of cutting a workpiece with a saw blade on a sawing machine.
CONSTITUTION: A horizontal band sawing machine 1 is constructed by means of providing, as a identification mark given to a saw blade, for example, at least either one of a reader 37 to read bar cords and a writing device 39 on a cutting head 9, for example. In addition, a control device 19 provided with a saw blade history memory 49 to memorize the history of a saw blade 7 based on bar cords of the saw blade 7 read by the reader 37 is equipped on the horizontal band sawing machine 1.
