PURPOSE: To arbitrarily control a tension to correct a skew of a saw blade to conduct cutting accurately and ideally by preventing a slippage of a saw blade belt.

CONSTITUTION: In a sawing machine in which an endless belt-form saw blade 1 spread between pulleys 2, 3 is traveled to conduct cutting by bringing the tension and speed thereof under control by a hydraulic cylinder 6 and drive motors 4, 5, pinch rollers 8, 10 or the like are provided so as to come into pressure contact with the peripheries of the pulleys 2, 3 through the saw blade belt 1. The belt 1 is prevented from slipping by being pressurized by the pinch rollers, thus being arbitrarily adjusted in tension.
