Abstract:
To remove chips attached on a sawtooth and to lengthen the service life of a brush and the sawtooth by maintaining the most suitable contact of the brush on the sawtooth always even when the diameter is changed by the abrasion of the brush.
In a sawtooth chips removing method to remove chips attached to the sawtooth 1 by pressing brushes 3, 3 turned by a drive motor 5, the load on the drive motor 5 is detected and the chips are removed by adjusting the pressing of the brush 3, 3 to the sawtooth 1 in accordance with the detected load.
