PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scale removing apparatus having a simple structure and good operability by smoothly erecting an elevator without problem according to an installation lifting it, and feeding a lance provided at its end to a cleaning position in a way with reliability.
SOLUTION: A steam generator has a plurality of tube supporting plates 13a, 13b horizontally disposed in a shell 1, a heat transfer tube 12 extended to pass through the respective plates so as to form a tube lane S in the shell 1, a pair of inspecting holes 1a provided at the shell 1, and flow slots 1b provided at a part corresponding to the tube lane S of the plates 13a, 13b. A guide rail assembly 30 of the scale removing apparatus 10 is mounted on a horizontal lowermost tube supporting plate by utilizing the tube lane S, and a moving and connecting truck assembly 40 for supporting an elevator 50 is moved along the assembly 30. The elevator is erected by using both the wire 25c and a cylinder 60 and extended upward through a flow slot together with the lance.
