In a multifunction machine 1, having a scanner section 3 generating image data by reading out an image from a document sheet 11, and an image data output section 4, such as a communication section 4a outputting the image data, a printer section 4b, a facsimile section 4c, a memory card processing section 4d, or the like, an image data processing section 8 controls the image data output section 4, based on control information imparted to a region of the document sheet 11 within the readable range of the scanner section 3 and deviating from the processing range of the image data output section 4.
