PURPOSE: To provide the screen image acquisition device which can easily handle a screen image as image data.

CONSTITUTION: When the screen image is inputted as data, data for document generation for generating a document file for handling the screen image as data is generated, a frame area for handling the data on a document is secured, and a data file for storing the image data is generated (S12-S15). The screen image is read as the data and processed according to the size ratio of the actual screen image data and frame area, and the processed data are written in the image data file (S16-S19). The data written in this image data file are displayed as image data through a document display part (S21 and s22).
