Title:
SCREEN STENCIL FOR TEXITILE PRINTING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61291190
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a screen stencil for textile printing by directly drawing a pattern while melting a film, a paper or the like formed of a synthetic or semi-synthetic highmolecular weight material without affecting a plain gauze by radiations such as laser beams or ultrasonic waves.

CONSTITUTION: A film, tanned paper or thin sheet formed of a synthetic or semi-synthetic high molecular weight material 3 capable of being melted at a temperature not higher than the heat-resisting temperature of ceramic fibers is jointed to a screen comprising a plain gauze 1 fitted to a frame 2, thereby producing a screen 4. While irradiating the surface of the screen with radiations 5 having strong energy and capable of being focused in the form of a spot or line, such as laser beams, or ultrasonic waves, the irradiation device is moved according to a pattern previously inputted into a computer to sequentially melt the film at the irradiation point, thereby obtaining a screen stencil for textile printing which has a pattern 6.
