Abstract:

To provide a screen which has a function as a flower vase wherein natural flowers can be arranged and also forms an essential part of the graceful interior decoration.

The screen 1 consists of four panels 3 of a predetermined size which are connected in the transverse direction, frame plate 2 of about 5 to 6 cm, in width which surrounds the panels 3, and supporting legs 4 formed under the frame plate. On the rear face of the panels 3, a plurality of shelf plates 6 are installed. On the front face of the panels 3, a decorative picture 13 is drawn and a plurality of large and small insertion holes 10 are formed. On each shelf plate 6, a water container to insert a stem of a flower A is so positioned and fixed as to correspond to each insertion hole 10. On the rear face, there also exists a covering member 8 such as a sliding door 9 for covering each shelf plate.
