To provide a flower vase having a lighting mechanism which can create an atmosphere of a hall of ceremonial occasions or the like or can increase a decorative effect of various kinds of interior spaces by lighting up, from inside, natural flowers, dry flowers, art flowers or the like arranged around a lighting apparatus.

At the center of a bottom part of the main body 1 of a box-like flower vase which houses a cord inside, a socket pipe 6 through which the cord 4 is passed and which has a lighting apparatus 8 at the top is set upright. In an upper part of the main body 1 of the flower vase, a pan 2 having a cylindrical part 3a formed by building a partition wall 3 at the center with the socket pipe 6 disposed at the center is set. In a recessed part formed between an outer wall 2a and partition wall 3 of the pan 2, a flower sponge 7 is set. Outside the cylindrical part 3a, a cylindrical glass tube 9 higher than the partition wall 3 is installed.
