Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel screw-adsorbing tape which does not undergo rapid deterioration of screw-holding powers, therefore can dispense with frequent replacement and is free from a risk of peeling from a tip of a driver to be left on the top of the screw, and to provide a tape installer that can easily and efficiently attach the screw-adsorbing tape to the tip of the driver.
SOLUTION: The subject screw-adsorbing tape has, on the surface opposite to the surface having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed thereon, a screw-adsorbing layer, which comprises a soft resin having a JIS A hardness of 15 or less and a 50% tensile stress at 20°C of 1.8 kgf/cm2 or less and is forced into a groove at the top of a screw and contact-bonded in a state attached, by tack strength of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, to the tip of a driver thereby sticking to the screw and holding it at the tip of the driver. The subject tape installer unwinds the screw-adsorbing tape wound in a roll form while peeling off a peeling layer laminated on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and attaches the tape on the tip of a driver.
