Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a screw-nut device using multiple threads having lesser internal friction and abrasive wear.
CONSTITUTION: This device comprises a screw V, consisting of multiple threads and a nut E. A foregoing thread I and following thread II have intervals a+δ and a-δ, so that they are repeated periodically in response to the pitch in the screw V and nut E. Even if the same constituent elements are used, the contact condition of a rolling element B with the thread flank of the nut E and screw V can be changed, by shifting the position of the screw V relative to the nut E.
