Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a screw roller adapted to an entirely novel sheet feed method and apparatus, not lowering feed function with the elapse of time, capable of being embodied at a low cost and eliminating the generation of noise accompanied by feeding and the damage of a sheet.
CONSTITUTION: A screw roller 1 spirally formed using a hard material and characterized by that at least the surface of the outer peripheral part of a spiral part is formed from material quality easy to slip with respect to a sheet S is rotated around its roller shaft while the outer peripheral part thereof is pressed to the uppermost sheet of the stacked sheets S to feed the uppermost sheet.
