To provide a screwdriver support mechanism easily and precisely adjusting a circuit constant for an electronic component mounted on a circuit board.
The screwdriver support mechanism includes: a support member having an insertion hole; a screwdriver which is inserted into the insertion hole and can move in the direction of insertion thereinto; and an elastic member to urge the screwdriver in the movable direction. At least one of the outer circumferential surface of the screwdriver and the inner circumferential surface of the insertion hole is composed of a movement inhibiting member having a greater friction coefficient than the support member or a component member of the screwdriver, with the movement inhibiting member in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the screwdriver or the inner circumferential surface of the insertion hole. When the screwdriver returns to its original position, therefore, the moving speed of the screwdriver can be slowed down due to a frictional force of the movement inhibiting member. This prevents, for example, inadvertent rotation of an adjustment volume driver for the electronic component after appropriately adjusting its circuit constant as the volume follows the screwdriver returning to the original position, thereby allowing the circuit constant for the electronic component to be adjusted easily and precisely.
