To provide a highly reliable scroll compressor which can exhibit high lubricity even through alternate coolant by efficiently supplying oil to slidable parts.
In this scroll compressor, an orbiting scroll 5 and a stationary scroll 4 having spiral laps are meshed with each other in a hermetic container 1 so as to constitute a compressor which is supported by a frame 8, and an Oldham's ring 10 for turning the orbiting scroll 5 without removing the same about its axis, is interposed between the compressor and the frame 8. In this arrangement, an Oldham's ring sliding part including a key groove 8a formed in the frame 8 and a key 10b formed on the Oldham's ring 10 is formed in an oil feed passage 19 for supplying oil into an oil sump defined in the bottom part of the hermetic container 1 so as to efficiently supply oil to the Oldham's ring sliding part in order to enhance the lubricity of the slidable surfaces, thereby it is possible to enhance the compressible function and a slidable reliability.
