PURPOSE: To prevent compression reaction force receiving surface of a movable scroll member from adhering to a confronting member even in the case where a compressor is started in the oilless state, and to improve cutting workability for a spiral part of the movable scroll member.
CONSTITUTION: In a movable scroll member 18 comprising a spiral part 18b and a bearing boss part 18c provided on both the surface and back of a base plate 18a, a part 33 receiving the compression reaction force applied along the central axis is formed by an aluminium-silicon base alloy of hyper-eutectic composition which has high hardness and is excellent in seizure-resistance. Further, the other part 34 is formed by an aluminium-silicon base alloy of hypo-eutectic composition excellent in cutting workability. As an aluminium silicon base alloy of hyper-eutectic composition, it is preferable that the percentage content of silicon is 14-30wt.%, and as an aluminium-silicon base alloy of hypo-eutectic composition, it is preferable that the percentage content of silicon is 4-12wt.%.
