Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a scroll compressor bearing material which possesses a low frictional coefficient, reduces the mechanical loss, improves the efficiency, endures a high load, and temporarily withstands nonlubricated state.

CONSTITUTION: A thrust bearing 3 and an 0ldham's ring 20 which constitue a scroll compression mechanism are made through the iron group sintering having a density of at least 7.00g/cm3, and a surface treatment for forming an iron boronide on a slidable part is carried out.
