Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a scroll compressor capable of securing reliability even when an R32 refrigerant is used.SOLUTION: A scroll compressor comprises: a compression mechanism part; a frame; an electric motor for driving the compression mechanism part via a rotation shaft; a rolling bearing for supporting the rotation shaft; an Oldham joint 500 having a key groove formed on the frame and a key 614 engaged with the key groove formed on a revolving scroll, and turned while preventing rotation of the revolving scroll; and a closed container for housing each component. An R32 is used as a refrigerant. When a temperature rise degree of the key of the Oldham joint and the frame is designated as ΔT, width of the key groove formed on the frame is designated as L1, a linear expansion coefficient of the frame is designated as α1, width of the key formed on the Oldham joint is designated as L2 and a linear expansion coefficient of the Oldham joint is designated as α2, a relationship between the key groove width L1 of the frame and the key width L2 of the Oldham joint satisfies L1(1+α1 ΔT)>L2(1+α2 ΔT).
