Title:
SCROLL COMPRESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08189481
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily install a thrust bearing on a block without requiring screwing by meshing a claw formed on a thrust bearing with a groove formed on a boss extended from a lower end surface of a block.

CONSTITUTION: Since thrust load is applied to a lower end surface of a block 16 from an oscillating scroll member 20, a thrust bearing 70 is arranged between the lower end surface and a back surface of the oscillating scroll member 20. The thrust bearing 70 is circularly formed of sintered alloy, etc., being provided with a claw 13 which is projected in a diameter direction. A boss 76 which abuts against an inner peripheral side surface of the thrust bearing 70 is extended from the lower end surface of the block 16. The boss 76 is formed with an engagement groove 77 with which the claw 73 of the thrust bearing 70 is engaged. The thrust bearing 70 can thus be fixed to the block 16. The thrust bearing 70 can easily be installed without requiring installation parts such as screws and pins.
