To improve a productivity of a muffler having a partition member without reducing strength and reliability by constituting the muffler and the partition member independently from each other, and constituting a discharge muffler by co-clamping and co-fixing the muffler and the partition member to a fixing scroll so as to house the partition member inside of muffler.
A discharge muffler is formed in such a constitution that a muffler 21 and a partition member 23 are fixed by co-clamping to a fixing scroll by installing plane parts 21a, 23a, arranged on a partition member main body and a flange part of a muffler main body in a condition in which a cylindrical partition member main body is fitted into an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical muffler main body. The muffler 21 and the partition plate 23 are separated from each other, and thereby, a process for welding the partition plate with the muffler is eliminated, flatness of a muffler installing flat surface part 21a, a separation plate installing flat surface part 23 are easily formed by means by only pressing, a productivity is sharply improved, a cleaning degree by washing at the time of parts built-in is easily managed, and a rate of foreign matters mixed when a product is built in is sharply reduced.
