To facilitate the positioning of an operating tube at the time of mounting it by forming a recessed part on the upper side of the dome-shaped casing top of a casing into which a fixed scroll and a movable scroll are built, forming a plane part at the bottom of the recessed part, and mounting the operating tube on the flat part.
This scroll fluid machine is provided with a casing 1, a fixed scroll 5 and a movable scroll 6, an operating tube 4, and a discharging tube 7. The casing 1 consists of a dome-shaped upper casing 1a forming one axial end and a lower casing 1b. A recessed part 2 is formed on the upper side of the upper casing 1a at the eccentric position from the center of the upper side of the upper casing 1a and a plane part 2a is formed at the bottom of the recessed part 2. The plane part 2 is preferably extended in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the casing 1 and operating tubes 4 such as an injection tube and a refrigerant capacity control tube are mounted on the plane part 2a. It is thus possible to improve the mounting workability of the operating tubes 4.
