To prevent the damage of a seal packing in an outer fitting process of a bulk head by arranging R on an edge of a lower end of a hollow mounting part of the bulk head, in a device formed in such a constitution that the hollow mounting part of the bulk head for sectioning the inside of an enclosed container into high and low pressure chambers is air-tightly outer-fitted around the outer periphery of a rib through the seal packing.
In a fixed scroll. in a scroll compression element, a lap 51 is projected and formed on a lower surface of a low pressure chamber, and a delivery port 53 communicated with a high pressure chamber side is arranged on a center part thereof. A bulk head 9 for sectioning the inside of an enclosed container into the high pressure chamber and the low pressure chamber is arranged on an upper part of the delivery port 53. The bulk head 9 is air-tightly fitted to an outer periphery of an annular rib 52 in which a hollow mounting part 96 is formed on an upper surface of a fixed scroll 5, through a seal packing 12, and is formed by carrying out press-working on a steel plate. R is applied on the edge 95 of the bulk head 9 at the time of press-working, and thereby, it is possible to prevent the seal packing 12 from damaging by being brought into contact with the edge 95.
