Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of galling and the generation of noise between the addendum surface of a lap part and the bottom of a mating one.
CONSTITUTION: A recessed part 29B to expand the central part of an addendum surface 29A from the inner peripheral side to the outer peripheral side is formed in the lap part 29 of a revolving scroll 27. The addendum surface 29A comprises a slide contact part 43A, protrusion parts 43B, and an engaging part 43C, all formed of a material, such as PES, having self-lubricity. A string-form seal member 43 formed in an E-shape in cross section is securely arranged. A recessed groove 36B similar to the recessed groove 29B is also formed in the addendum surface 36A of the lap part 36 of a fixed scroll 34 and a seal member 44 formed in a similar manner described at the seal member 43 is securely arranged.
