Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve sealing performance and reliability by extending two lips provided on an outside seal ring toward the front side of a joint at its outside in the direction of its diameter.
CONSTITUTION: A ring-shaped groove 21 is formed between the face 20 of an inside ring and the face 8 of an outside ring to adhere an outside seal ring 22 to the face 20 of the inside ring. The outside seal ring 22 is provided with two lips 23, 24 toward the front side of a joint. In this way, when inner pressure rises with temperature rise air can freely escape outward through the ring- shaped groove 21 during use to assure sealing performance and reliability.
