Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal material of a linear guide which inhibits fine foreign objects from entering into a gap between a guide rail and a slider and reduces slide resistance of the seal material to the guide rail.SOLUTION: A linear guide includes: a guide rail 3; and a slider which movably fits in the guide rail 3 through balls serving as rolling elements. A seal material of the linear guide is attached to the slider of the linear guide and seals an opening of a gap between the guide rail 3 and the slider. A slide contact part 2a, which slidably contacts with the guide rail 3, is formed by fiber 2c impregnated with rubber or resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
