Title:
SEAL RING OF STEAM TURBINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3905625
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of sealed properties by certainly performing a predetermined movement in a seal ring used by being arranged between rotary parts in a rotating machine such as a steam turbine.
SOLUTION: This seal ring comprises upper, lower, left and right side seal ring pieces 1a-1d which are respectively slidably brought into contact on split surfaces 3a-3d so as to form spaces 9a-9d. Springs 4a-4d are vertically bounced in the spaces 9a-9d, and the upper and lower seal ring pieces 1a, 1b and right and left seal ring pieces 1c, 1d are respectively engaged with seal ring guides 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b and seal ring guides 7, 8, and can be vertically slid. Spaces 10a-10d are arranged in the seal ring pieces 1a-1d at the ends of the seal ring guides 5a-6b and springs 11a-11d are vertically bounced and arranged in the spaces 10a-10d, thereby the mutual skirmish of the seal ring can be prevented, and also it is moved to an inner side at the time of load, so that a clearance among seal fins 2a, 2b and their corresponding surfaces can be reduced.
