Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal device capable of being mounted even in a narrow space without degrading sealability, and superior in handling performance in storage and transportation.SOLUTION: A seal device 8 for sealing a bearing device 1 including an outer ring 2, and an inner ring 6 having an outward flange portion 41, includes a fitting cylindrical portion 80 fitted to an outer ring, and composed of a core metal 9, and a seal member 10 having a plurality of annular seal lips 101, 102 and formed integrally with the core metal. The core metal is composed of a cylindrical portion 91 fitted to the outer ring and configuring a fitting cylindrical portion, and a circular ring portion 92 radially extended along an end face 22b in a direction of a shaft L of the outer ring from one end portion 91a of the cylindrical portion. The first seal lip at an inner most diameter side of the plurality of seal lips is positioned at an inner diameter side with respect to an innermost peripheral face portion 81 of the fitting cylindrical portion and reduced in diameter toward the flange portion, and a second seal lip at an outer diameter side with respect to the first seal lip is positioned at an outer diameter side with respect to an outermost peripheral face portion 82 of the fitting cylindrical portion, and enlarged in diameter toward the flange portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
