Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal device in which defects, such as fall of a paper sheet in midway of transport and deviation of a paper sheet bundle, hardly occur.SOLUTION: A seal device comprises: an accumulation part 20 for accumulating paper sheets st as a paper sheet bundle; and a seal part 30 for sealing the paper sheet bundle by a band body, in which, the paper sheet bundle is transported by roller transport or belt transport between the accumulation part and the seal part. One or both of rollers and a belt stretched to plural rollers, serve as transport members. The accumulation part comprises an accumulation upper transport mechanism 22 and an accumulation lower transport mechanism 21 for sandwiching the paper sheet bundle from a vertical direction with the transport members, actuating the transport members for transporting the paper sheet bundle toward a horizontal direction. The seal part comprises a seal upper transport mechanism 32 and a seal lower transport mechanism 31 for sandwiching the paper sheet bundle from the vertical direction with the transport members, actuating the transport members for transporting the paper sheet bundle toward the horizontal direction. The accumulation lower transport mechanism and the seal lower transport mechanism are arranged to receive and deliver the paper sheet bundle between them, in a horizontal state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A
