To provide a lubricant composition for a seamless steel processing, which satisfies synthetically various properties such as a non-carburizing nature, and without spoiling excellent lubricity to hard to work materials of 13 chromium steel, stainless steel, etc., storage stability, a transporting nature within apparatus piping, a spraying nature to a lubricating part, and uniform adhesion to a high-temperature mandrel bar, etc.
The composition is considered, in which viscosity characteristics are represented by the approximate formula: Y=aXb [wherein Y is viscosity (mPa s); X is a shear rate (s-1); during standing storing, a is 4,000-40,000, and b is -1.0 to -0.3; and after 90 sec from shearing finalizing, a is 1,000-20,000, and b is -1.0 to -0.15].
