PURPOSE: To obtain seasoned flakes of dried fishes having a flavor without adding soy sauce to them, by steaming raw fishes and drying them to give dried fishes, immersing them in a source for flavor so that the dried fishes are seasoned, drying further them, sterilizing them, shaving them thinly into flakes and making them into vacuum packs by a N2 gas.
CONSTITUTION: Raw fishes are steamed and dried to give dried fishes, which are immersed in a source for flavor containing seasoning for a fixed period so that they are seasoned. Then the dried fishes after seasoning treatment are dried further, sterilized, shaved thinly into flakes, made into vacuum packs by a N2 gas, to give seasoned flakes of dried fishes. These flakes of dried fishes are used for food and edible in a nice taste for leisure such as moutain- climbing, hiking, etc., without using seasoning and a table knife. Addition of these flakes of dried fishes to other foods can make the taste of the foods more delicious.
