To provide a seat belt apparatus of a vehicle capable of minimizing forward displacement of an occupant after rebound in a rear collision, and reducing second collision in a car interior.
The seat belt apparatus 20 of the vehicle 11 comprises: a belt reel 31 for winding a belt 21; an actuator 32 for reeling the belt by rotary drive of the belt reel; and a control device 40 for controlling reeling operation of the belt by the actuator based on a detection signal related to a rear collision state generated in the vehicle, and further comprises a load detection part 51 for detecting a load applied on a seat back 12b of a seat which is equipped with the belt. The control device includes a rear collision belt control part 402 for actuating the actuator when the load detected by the load detection part becomes not less than a predetermined value.
