To provide a seat device of a vehicle capable of efficiently mounting a long luggage while securing the flexibilities of a floor structure and a seat structure even in a vehicle compact in the longitudinal direction.
In a vehicle, a seat 54 on which an occupant can sit is disposed on a floor panel 4, a rear luggage compartment 59 is formed at the rear of the seat 54, and the opening of the rear luggage compartment 59 opened and closed by an opening/closing member 64. The seat 54 comprises a seat cushion 55 and a seat back rest 56 vertically extending from the rear of the seat cushion 55. The intermediate section of the seat back rest 56 comprises a foldable section 60 having a height generally equal to that of the rear luggage compartment 59 and foldable forward. A continuous luggage compartment surface is formed by the rear surface of the seat back rest 56 and the rear luggage compartment 59.
