An elevation mechanism 50 of a seat device for a vehicle according to the present invention includes: a front-side elevation guide 51 which is coupled to a front side of an outer slide member 44 to rotate upward and downward and tilts down at a predetermined angle when the outer slide member 44 is at a forward-movement limit position; a rear-side elevation guide 52 which is coupled to a rear side of the outer slide member 44 to rotate upward and downward, and tilts in parallel with the front-side elevation guide 51 when the outer slide member 44 is at the forward-movement limit position; an elevation member 60 which is configured to move up and down along the front-side elevation guide 51 etc., having tilted while holding the sheet body in a fixed posture; and an elevation driving source which applies elevation force to the elevation member 60 in a direction along the front-side elevation guide 51 etc.
