To provide a seat reclining device of a vehicle which generates no delay in a rotational direction between right and left reclining units and prevents a frictional resistance.
The seat reclining device includes a pair of reclining units 1 for locking/unlocking a seat back turnable relative to a seat cushion, a pair of shafts 15 and 19 having insertion portions 15a and 19a having a square cross-section and loosely fitted to square holes 9a of cams 9 of the reclining units 1, a connection shaft 16 for connecting the pair of shafts 15 and 19, an operation lever 17 connected to the outside end of the shaft 15, and a spring for urging the operation lever 17 in a locking direction. A large diameter portion 15b and a push nut 23 are provided for restricting the shaft 15 connected with the operation lever 17 relative to one reclining unit 1, and the other shaft 19 is provided so as to be axially moved relative to the other reclining unit 1.
