Abstract:
To provide an activation apparatus capable of executing activation processing to a plurality of secondary batteries simultaneously and in parallel while suppressing increase of manufacture cost.SOLUTION: An activation apparatus comprises: a first loading shelf including a first storage part in which a secondary battery is stored, and a first charge/discharge device which charges/discharges the secondary battery stored in the first storage part; a second loading shelf including a second storage part in which a secondary battery is stored, and a second charge/discharge device which charges/discharges the secondary battery stored in the second storage part; and a transfer device which transfers the secondary battery between the first loading shelf and the second loading shelf. The first charge/discharge device includes a first power source having a first power rating capable of dealing with first processing for making power at a first power level into maximum application power, and the second charge/discharge device includes a second power source having a second power rating which is higher than the power rating of the first power source, capable of dealing with second processing for making power at a second power level higher than the first power level into maximum application power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
