Abstract:

To provide a secondary battery with the use of electrolyte which is prevented from deterioration and decomposition in a discharge and charge reaction.

This secondary battery comprises a negative electrode 504 and a positive electrode 500 which face, each other and an ion conduction structural body having a layer or columnar construction 502 in a base material 503 of the ion conduction structural body 501 between the negative electrode 504 and the positive electrode 505. Preferably the ion conduction structure 501 has a layer structure or a columnar structure. Further, preferably the ion conduction structure 501 is made up of at least a polymer material and a support electrolyte.
