Abstract:
To provide a secondary battery system with which it is possible to reduce the time and labor needed for the prior degradation test of a secondary battery.SOLUTION: A specific differential value P0 as a differential value dQ/dV to a prescribed inclination region E on a differential curve V-dQ/dV that indicates relationship between the voltage V of a battery pack 4 and the differential value dQ/dV is fixed, and first and second reference voltages V1, V2 as voltages V corresponding to the specific differential value P0 when first and second SOH (90%, 80%) are reached due to the progress of degradation of the battery pack 4. Assuming that the natural logarithm of change amounts of the first and second reference voltages V1, V2 from the unused time of the battery pack 4 and the first and second SOH have a linear relationship, the correlation of each degradation index of the battery pack 4 with the natural logarithm is stored in memory and a voltage V corresponding to the specific differential value P0 via the inclined region E of the differential curve V-dQ/dV is calculated at charge and discharge time of the battery pack 4, with the SOH estimated on the basis of the natural logarithm of its change amount and the correlation stored in memory.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
