Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide secondary lining inside a segment formed by primary lining provided by shield construction method, while keeping small the area occupied by a vertical shaft.
CONSTITUTION: Primary lining is provided inside a tunnel by use of a segment 11 and then a profile 20 and a reinforcing material 40 are supplied to a tube mill 15 installed inside a vertical shaft 12. The profile 20 reinforced by the reinforcing material 40 is formed into a spiral tube 10 by a tube mill 15 and propelled into the segment 11. As the spiral tube 10 manufactured by the tube mill 15 is propelled along the overall length of the segment 11, the spiral tube 10 is cut near the tube mill 15 and secured to the segment 11. Under these conditions, a back-filling material is packed between the spiral tube 15 and the segment 11.
