Title:
SECURING METHOD OF MALE SCREW TO METAL PLATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2509446
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To secure a male screw to a metal plate in a simple manner by forming a lot of rugged grooves parallel to an axis in a male screw head part and plural pieces of notch stepped parts on a peripheral surface of this head part respectively, while securing these rugged grooves to a peripheral wall part of a burring hole of the metal plate, and engaging a locking claw with the notch stepped part.
CONSTITUTION: A lot of rugged grooves 13 parallel to an axis is formed in the peripheral surface of a head part 11 of a bolt 10 and a rectangular notch stepped part 14 in a symmetrical position at the side end of a screw shaft 12 of the head part 11, respectively. A burring hole 16 is formed in this metal plate 15 at a diameter equal to the bolt head part 11 and in height equal to the height, while about two-thirds in height of a peripheral part 17 is cut into a U-shaped form at the shorter width than that of the notch stepped part 14 and a locking claw 18 bent inward in parallel with a surface of the metal plate 15 is formed in a position corresponding to the peripheral wall part 17. When the notch stepped part 14 is mateched with the locking claw 18 and the bolt head part 11 is pressed-in the burring hole 16, the rugged grooves 13 advances into an inner surface of the peripheral wall part 17 as biting thereinto, whereby the notch stepped part 14 is engaged with the locking claw 18, and the bolt head part 11 is fitted in the burring hole 16, so that the bolt 10 is secured to the metal palte 15.
