An installation method for a seismic isolation device includes a horizontal opposing member installation step of arranging a horizontal opposing member opposing a horizontal external force in the first direction along the first direction between the first upper protruding portion and the second upper protruding portion, and between the first lower protruding portion and the second lower protruding portion, and a connecting step of connecting between the horizontal opposing member and the upper connecting portion and between the horizontal opposing member and the lower connecting portion after the horizontal opposing member installation step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
