Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the installation of seismic isolation means without disturbing the use of upper stories and even in a narrow space.
SOLUTION: After installing a temporary column 4 for tentatively receiving a load acting to a column 3 of an existing building, in a seismic isolation means installation equipment which permits the installation freely for the seismic isolation means 2 freely easing the relative rolling between the upper portion 3b of a column at the upper side above a gap 5 and the lower portion 3a of the column at the lower portion below the gap 5 for seismic isolation means installation formed at the upper, lower and middle portions of the column 3, a first installation portion 13 freely detachable of the seismic isolation means 2 is installed at the main bodies 1A, 1B of the equipment, a transversing mechanism 15 supporting the freely lateral movement of the first attaching portion 13 in a state where the seismic isolation means 2 is attached to the first attaching portion 13, and the second attaching portion 14 is provided, which is freely attachable and fixes the main bodies 1A, 1B of the equipment to the temporary column 4.
