Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-leveling sanding machine automatically adjusted to be adhered to a workpiece having an entirely polished disc sand paper surface.SOLUTION: A self-leveling sanding machine 1 includes a base member 3 and a disc member 5. The base member 3 has a base plate 11, a motor bracket fixed to a center of the base plate 11, a motor 13 supported by the motor bracket, and a reduction gear 17 connected to an output shaft of the motor 13. The output shaft of the reduction gear 17 passes through the base plate 11 and extends up to the other side of the base member 3. The disc member 5 is stacked on the base plate 11 so as to be back-to-back with the motor 13 and has an elastic cushion which is higher than a U-type jib housing installed in a carrier plate, sand paper laid on the elastic cushion, a jib engaged to hold the sand paper, and a transmission mechanism engaged to the output shaft of the reduction gear 17.
