Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-lubricating composite material wherein, necessary strength can be obtained while a blending ratio of a solid lubricant such as molybdenum disulfide (MoS) is set to be equal to 60 mass% or more, and a rolling bearing prepared using the same.SOLUTION: This invention provides a self-lubricating composite material that comprises molybdenum disulfide (MoS) of 60 mass% to 80 mass%, and at least one of titanium (Ti) and zinc (Zn) of 0.1 mass% to 2 mass%, with the balance comprising at least iron (Fe), and a rolling bearing using the self-lubricating composite material.
