Title:
SELF-LUBRICATING MOTION DEVICE MADE OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND OPERATING UNDER HIGH DYNAMIC LOADS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2018109449
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-lubricating joint made of polymer which is homogeneous across its entire thickness having no reinforcement substrate and operating under high loads, for example, greater than 60 MPa in a dynamic state.SOLUTION: This assembly includes a ball joint (1) assembled in a cage (2), the ball joint (1) receiving an axle (3) capable of sliding and/or rotating. The ball joint is made of a composite material and operating under high loads in a dynamic state, and an element is formed from the winding of a fabric of small thickness ranging from 20 μm to 150 μm and mixed with a resin comprising fillers. The fabric appears as a form of strips having a width ranging from 5 mm to 200 mm, the strips being crossed in multiple layers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
