Abstract:

To provide a semi-grained artificial leather which has a high grade appearance similar to natural leather, and has sufficient fastness and sufficient surface strength capable of resisting to employments of furniture interiors, vehicles, bags, shoes, miscellaneous goods, and the like.

The semi-grained artificial leather having a surface layer comprising ultrafine filaments and a polymer elastomer B on the surface of a substrate layer comprising an interlaced nonwoven fabric comprising the ultrafine filaments and ≤5 mass% of a polymer elastomer A contained in the interlaced nonwoven fabric is characterized in that the ultrafine filaments are dyed with a dye, and the polymer elastomer B is substantially not dyed with a dye.
