NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I [R1 is H; R2 is H, lower alkyl, ar(lower)alkyl, lower alkenyl, or aryl; R3 is obtained by eliminating H from R2, or R2 and R3 are linked to form (aryl-substituted) 2W6C alkylidene, etc.; R4 is di(lower)alkylamino, (heterocyclic group-substituted)lower alkyl, or (substituted)heterocyclic group; R5 is H, or lower alkyl; X is O, or S] and its salt.
EXAMPLE: N[(4-Pyridylcarbamoyl)amino]-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine.
USE: An anti-inflammatory drug or an analgesic. Useful for remedying inflammations and pains such as headache, toothache, menstrual pain, etc.
PREPARATION: For example, a compound shown by the formula II or its salt is reacted with a compound shown by the formula III or its salt in an organic solvent suchas methylene chloride, etc. in the presence of a base such as triethyleneamine, etc. under cooling W under heating, to give a compound shown by the formula I where R5 is H.
