To provide a semiconductive belt having highly accurate flatness, having no problem about the deformation or the like of a shape with the lapse of time, forming a suitable nip shape in a transfer part, and reducing changes of electric resistance due to environments, and to provide an image forming device provided with the semiconductive belt and capable of stably obtaining high transfer image quality.
In the endless semiconductive belt allowed to be used for an electrophotographic image forming device and consisting of an outer layer 2 and an inner layer 3 each mainly composed of a polyimide resin containing a conductive substance, a difference between linear expansion coefficients of the outer layer 2 and the inner layer 3 at 10-80°C is ≤35×10-6/°C and the linear expansion coefficient of the outer layer 2 is larger than that of the inner layer 3. This invention includes the image forming device using the semiconductive belt as an intermediate transfer belt or a paper carrying belt.
