Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a semiconductive plastic endless belt which obviates the occurrence of peeling between respective layers by extracting two layers in order of larger thicknesses among multiple layers and forming the outer layer of these two layers of a material contg. a fluorine modified acrylate resin and fluorinated olefin resin.
SOLUTION: The semiconductive plastic endless belt comprises a three-layered structure consisting of an inside layer 14, an intermediate layer 15 adjacent thereto and an outside layer 26 adjacent to this intermediate layer 15. The thicknesses of the respective layers are set largest with the outside layer 16, next largest with the inside layer 14 and smallest with the intermediate layer 15. The two layers in order of the larger thicknesses among the multiple layers of the semiconductive plastic endless belt 13 consisting of such multiple layers, i.e., the outside layer 16 and the inside layer 14 are extracted. The outside layer 16 which is the outer layer of the extracted two layers is formed of the material contg. the fluorine modified acrylate resin and fluorinated olefin resin. Good copied images are obtainable by using such endless belt as a transfer belt.
