Title:
SEMICONDUCTOR LIGHT-EMITTING ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013168598
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a semiconductor light-emitting element which has an improved light emission distribution.

A semiconductor light-emitting element 10 comprises a semiconductor layer stack 15 in which a first semiconductor layer 12 of a first conductivity type, a semiconductor light-emitting layer 13 and a second semiconductor layer 14 of a second conductivity type are sequentially stacked, and which has on one end side, a notch 16 and a first indentation part 17 extending from the notch 16 to the other end side so as to expose the first semiconductor layer 12; a first pad electrode 18 provided in the notch 16; a first thin wire electrode 19 extending from the first pad electrode 18 along the first indentation part 17; a transparent conductive film 20 which is provided on the second semiconductor layer 14 and includes a plurality of linear through holes 22a through 22g arranged so as to surround the first thin wire electrode 19; and a second pad electrode 21 provided on the transparent conductive film and on the other end side.
